Information we collect
Our website does not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to give it to us by completing a form or sending us an email.
When you visit our website your browser does, however, send details of your IP (Internet Protocol) address, and sometimes a web address which will identify organisations visiting the site, together with the date and time and other information about your browser and operating system. We and those who maintain our website record and use this information to evaluate how our website is used.
If you complete a form or send us an email, you will be sending us personal data and we will store and use it only for the purpose apparent from the form or email and for any other purposes for which you give your consent.
A cookie is information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.
We may use both “session“ cookies and “persistent“ cookies on the website. We will use the session cookies to: keep track of you whilst you navigate the website. We will use the persistent cookies to: enable our website to recognise you the next time you visit the site, so that we can show you new information.
Session cookies are deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies will remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach a specified expiry date.
Most browsers allow you to reject all cookies, whilst some browsers allow you to reject just third party cookies. For example, in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies“ using the sliding selector. Blocking all cookies will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites.
All our partners and staff are obliged to keep your personal information confidential. We do not share information about you with any third parties unless that is indicated on the form or you agree to it. We take all reasonable precautions to keep it secure, but note that information in forms and emails is not encrypted and is no more secure than ordinary email. We will only disclose information about you if we are required to do so by law or if it is necessary in connection with legal proceedings.
You are entitled to apply for a copy of any information we hold about you and to have any inaccurate information corrected.
